WOTAP carries out Community Briefings on the Constitution in Wau County. Staff from WOTAP, supported by volunteers informed different target groups about the content of the Transitional Constitution and the process to design a Permanent Constitution for South Sudan. WOTAP visited churches, meeting places in villages, prison, courts and schools to reach as many different people as possible. Women and men, youth and community leaders raised important questions during these meetings and discussed the participation of citizens in the Constitutional Process. Participants were not only informed themselves they were also asked to bring the information further to their respective communities.
